 I've just started taking hockey photos this hockey season. I use no flash, and pan with the player I'm focusing on through the glass. :)

This would have been the perfect shot if you could have got the player very sharp with the movement blur beyond him!! Im sure that is what you were trying to do??!!

Prhorton - he has a hockey stick in his hands. But it is sort of hard to see because the blade of his stick is parallel to his black hockey glove. So it blends right in there with his glove =\

Nice hockey action! Panning is effective here--and difficult under these lowish lights. Nice work!

Pretty good action image but it seems like he has lost his bat! Sorry for being flippant, but I know nothing of Ice Hockey and there seems to be something missing from the image, and I can't pick what it is. I like the image though.

Almost crisp enough. I reckon if you print the magazine on newsprint like they do, you might have something.... Nice composition, just needs to be little sharper.

I like the action shot but I would have liked it a little less blurry at least player in white towards the bottom. My preference.

I would have preferred if both of the players in this shot were in focus. The blurriness of everything else is distracting. Nice composition.
