| Ahh, the old bright red lips shot. Always a crowd pleaser. Something strange here though. Maybe a lime would have been better. Still, great job. |

| I was going through challenge pictures with my wife and her mother and sister when we came across this one. Everyone said "gross" but couldn't deny the brilliance of the shot. Great originality, crisp details and beautiful light. |

| I really like the lushness of the lips and the crystals on the candy. The colors rock. I would have liked to see a bit more of the upper lip (pan to the right just a hair), and slightly less of a highlight towards the tip of the candy. Nice job. You get my highest vote thus far. |

| Bold and vibrant colors that really "pop" out from against the deep black background. The only critiques I have is that since the bottom lip is shown with it's nice curves that you should have complimented the curves evident by not cropping out the curve of the top lip. Both bottom and upper lips should have been shown in fullness. Lastly you could very easily get rid of the top third of the photo - for that added 'emtpy space' does nothing to compliment the main subject which is located mostly in the bottom right hand portion of the compositon. A square crop would help keep the eye held on the main subjects. |

| Something strikes me as gross here. The colors are great but those lips are not in a flattering pose...LOL I have to give it to you though, this is the most shocking photo in the challenge. |

| WOW. This is drop dead complimentary colors if I've ever seen them. The detail and lighting is perfect. Talk about a close up!!!! Great use of negative space and framing too. |
