Maybe a little more focus on the beans would make the image slightly better. Nice job getting creative and giving us something different to look at. |

very clever... my only suggestion would be to maybe get closer so it would be clear without the challenge topic that it's coffee |

This is a neat shot, if only for the outstanding sky. The coffee "mountains" are kinda corny, but also work on a fun level. Technically, I wish there was a little more Depth of Field, so that more of the coffee grounds were in focus. The lighting is very good, and the crop just works perfectly. Wow, the stunning beauty of the sky in this shot just makes me comment on it again. Good capture. |

Well... I must admit, this doesn´t really scream "coffee shop" to me as they are not normally placed on the beach under the open sky where I come from but of course I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is taken at an actual coffee shop. I kindof like this shot but it could have been so much better if you did 2 things different (of course just my opinion)
1. Stood up just a little bit more and composed this more according to the rule of thirds, having the mounds the bottom third, the water the middle third and the sky the top third.
2. Had the whole shot in focus, having the sky out of the DOF is just distracting me, I would have wanted to see this whole shot within the DOF.
Don´t get me wrong, I still like this shot and I gave it a 7. |

I'd close the aperture all the way down and focus at hyperfocal distance in this... |

Novel idea (though strictly speaking not a coffee -shop-).

Ineresting, but you'd never see this at a coffee shop. |

This is really neat! Suppose it's a coffee shop on the beach? Big points here for a good shot and an original idea! |

Very cool shot. Love that you did something outside of the usual with the coffee beans & you did it well. |

Nice photo, maybe a bit too much yellow in the sky though, foreground a bit blurry |

Needed to be more focused. Also, didn't think the sunset worked well with the grounds. |
