 Got some nice fresh ones for the challenge!
Used the built-in flash and some sharpening afterwards.

Nice details on the nooks and crannies of the peppers. The lighting seems a bit flat. It looks like its an on-camera flash, so I'd consider using an off camera or bouncing it off a wall or ceiling.

Outside of thinking this is a well focused and lit photograph which surely meets the challenge, it made me go out and purchase fresh red peppers and stuff them for dinner, Great work.

peppers are always an easy subject. nice job getting complementary colors on one object rather than 2 different objects of opposite colors.

I like the colors in this one. The bright highlights distract from the image, as well as the imperfect peppers. For me, food shots should make you hungry, but the shriveled stems and the divit in the peper on the left don't make me salivate. More freshness and softer light would make this image a contender.
