 I was not going to enter a challenge this week but walked by our Japanese Lace-leaf Maple yeaterday I noticed the orange leaves against the crisp blue October sky and figured why not.

Shot at 70mm, ISO 400 to get fast shutter speed to stop wind motion.

Convert from RAW using RSE at +.35 Exposure compensation, +17 Fill light, +19 Shadow contrast, -11 Highlight contrast, +10 Sharpness, +20 Noise suppression.

DIP 10 to do slight Crop and sight boost blue channel contrast using levels and curves.

PSE3 to resize and save for web.

Nice composition and capture. However, the colors are oversaturated and my eyes start hurting after looking at it for a while.

Wow, nice leaf, great background. Not complementary colors though. I do like the lines created by the leaf.
