This would feel more like your art than a picture of someone else's if there was a more human touch to it. A hand, a shadow, a reflection, or a touch of handwriting on the back of a postcard would have made this much more interesting. |

Desat/Sepia works well for this photo. Compositon is very good and focus and exposure are right on. On the bad side, the bottom shelf suffers from what is probably lens distortion from a wide angle shot. When you're using a wide angle lens on something with straight lines it's usually better to keep the lines away from the border of the photo a little so it's less noticable. There's also a distinct shadow on the left side of the photo.
Overall a nice photo, though it's on the edge of being linked to the challenge, IMHO... this scene doesn't scream out "COFFEE SHOP" to me. Good job though. |

Kind of a ssssstreeeetch I think. Without title wouldn't make connection to coffee house and even with it, the connection is tenous. |

i like the concept of this photo! all the coffee houses by me seem to have postcards available...
it would be interesting to see this image from a wider perspective. The current focus divides the image in half...how would it look dividing the the image in thirds with its main lines? |
