Just checking some profiles before Chicago GTG on May 6th. This one is great. I am hoping that we get the same view and I learn from you. From where this was taken? Did you use tripod? |

Beautiful night shot of "my town" (well, I never lived there, but I was born there at Michael Reese--I grew up in Gary, Indiana). I am mixed about the tilt, I really like the dynamic it adds, but it draws attention to itself too, perhaps because it's not tilted enough to say: this is purposefully tilted (though I am sure it was).
Overall, a great night city scene: hope you have a big version of this hanging on your wall! |

Nice, but if it was straight, it would be even better! |

Wow, love the city light picutres. Thats a big town. Sometimes when there is this much in a picture, its hard to really get the "punch" from it. Mabe crop in from the top and left more. |

Ahhh, I miss Chicago :-) Really nice pic. It definitely shows the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as the magnitude of your corner of the world :-) Well done! The horizon seems slightly tilted to the right, but overall I really like this shot. |

Nice perspective on this but it seems a tad soft. The horizon not being parallel is kind of interesting. I like it. 7 |

I bet you get a few people say the horizon aint straight.. personally it dont bother me at all I like the shot and believe it adds curvature .. the earth is round after all. -6- |
