Shot with Kit lens, and polarizing filter to cut reflections on the water.

This image should of placed 1st. I really think this image is breathtaking. but congratulations on a high placing nevertheless. I think placings from 1st to 10th are all the same considering the amount of entries. COngratulations.

Very nice. There would be more balance to the photo if the contrast within the bare rock surfaces matched those of the clouds. 9

A striking and elegantly balanced landscape ... seldom does vertical crop really work in a landscape, but when it does, it can be terrific. And this one is. Beautifully composed, exposed and processed, it's really several interesting cameo studies in one (the rocks, the lake waters, the mountains/sky), yet they mesh harmoniously together to create a very satisfying whole. 8.

very nice. bumping up to 10 from 7. I like the clearness of the water in the foreground. and the DOF is nice. giving me a sence that I could reach in to the picture.

A very good composition and a brilliant viewpoint. I really think the foreground is beautiful, the soft shape of the rocks and the subtle colours. Post processing in the upper part is a bit overdone IMO and somehow is out of balance with the lower 3/4.

Very pretty. The leading line of the rocks is nice and works effectively as you chose the right perspective. Interesting detail in the foreground too. The blue of the mountains in the background draw your eye to them.
