Lighting/shadows are a bit harsh for my tastes. You might try diffusing the light or bouncing it off of a white piece of foamcore or something.

nice in b/w, well focused and meets the challenge, maybe i would have cropped a little more off the bottom, but generally a nice composition IMO

This just looks kind of like a dirty kitchen to me. I think the composition isn't very artful. Possibly have less props.

Nice composition. Brightness may have been adjusted a bit much, as the reflection in the cup and on the bag looks distorted.
