Sorry about the time but I chose the shot that I took at the end of his speech!
Every day for the past 401 years Ripon has had a night watchman known as the wakeman (awakeman) who has signalled the start of his watch by blowing his horn at the four corners of the market cross.
The city has had a horn as a symbol of its royal charter since the first horn was presented by King Alfred in 886 - the horn still exists and can be seen in the city collection although it is not blown anymore.

This si a good use of the architectural light and the subject light. I's not easy to get the good balance that you have. The little blocky thing bottom left is annoying but appreciate that you have no control over that and have not taken it into account in vote.

Flash / colour balance looks wrong - He has a blue tint to his face. Good the way you got the text in the background in focus.
