| nice image, I like the reflection in the coffee pot, but the harsh backlighting at top center is a dominating distraction, maybe some fill flash and shooting from a higher angle would have worked better |

Initial reaction: This is a nice photo of a calm and happy scene.
Technically, the exposure is right for the forground subjects, but as a result blows out the highlights outside the window. This normally wouldn't be a problem, except that the top bit of the glass is also blown out, which for me, detracts a lot from the subject. The reflection of the camera in the pot is a lot less than I expected it would be when I first looked at this picture, but is still a lot more than would be preferred. Also, the straw/stirrer in the coffee cup should either be removed altogether or included entirely. Cropped as it is, it leads the eye too far out of the frame and leaves me searching for the "rest of it."
Focus and DOF, sharpness, color and crop are great... just wish you had filtered down that outdoor light a little bit! :)

| Nice idea. Items a bit too crowded together and strong backlighting creates many shadows. I wonder what this would have looked light shot from a higher angle. |

| Mmm....Looks inviting. Love the reflection in the kettle but the washed area above it is really distracting. The top of the glass is almost completely lost. Nice composition and use of space. |

| tough shot with that backlighting - you did a nice job. maybe use a bounce card to fill in those shadows a little and bring more detail to the foreground? nice photo |
