Anything you can do to get the "genie version" to pop out more from the background will help. A little more 3-D there should look really cool. Maybe a bit of shadow?

Great idea/concept/execution as is though. I hope they love it and good luck!

fix the problem on your arm on left under sleeve (uneven), bump up the brightness a bit on the 'genie' version of yourself and it'll be great.

I dunno if this is possible or not, but on your right arm of the sax player in the background, you got a little photoshop on you right below your sleeve. Don't know if you can back up and take that out or not though. I've just always wanted to say "you've got a little photoshop on you"

Definately creative! Only thing I see at first glance is that the skin tones are so different...you'd probably have to correct that before merging the 2 pics, though (I'm not the good at PS, so I don't know!). Otherwise...It's a really neat picture.

I honestly think they will be impressed. It shows not only that you are talented in photography and photoshop, but also in the playing an instrument as well. I give it two thumbs up. Hope you get in!
