Very creative. Well done! This would have been a 10 for me. |

I like your picture but its a little unrealistic. I would have melted the chocolate on the bar a little more at the bottom. It looks like you are pouring chocolate liquid from behind the bar and that it is not dripping from the bar. Nice idea though. |

I suspect I know how you did this but you make it very seamless -- a very good idea and well done. My only complaint, if any, is the white-on-beige; a tinted cup might have been better, though you'd lose some of the chocolate-on-white. I like the foam in the cup, too, helps with the interest level. Would make a good commercial art shot. |

The glass disappears in your background - otherwise a wonderful shot. 9 |

Whether you did or not, it looks like you poured liquid chocolate from the back, its nice but i think it would have looked better if you had actually poured the liquid down the back of the chocolate so it wouldnt be just a stream, rather a wider "fall". but its still ok, 7 |

You've really captured the color of the chocolate well and I like your idea here, but just find it not to be very convincing. |

Oh, that's very creative. I give this one a 9. For clarity, compostion, creativeness and meets the challenge. |

Now, here is a fine idea... Allow me to take some time to comment on this one. ;)
Initial: Clean, interesting, emotive (for those of us who love chocolate)
Composition: I like the way this is composed. My eye bounces back and forth between the foaming/bubbling liquid and the chocolate bar - all the time connected by the chocolate that is seemingly endlessly pouring into the cup... giving me a sense that at some point it might over flow. I know this will not happen, but emotionally, I fear it might and wait in anticipation anyway.
Technical: The focus and lighting is good, making the colors true to their own.
What I would suggest: Though it sort of looks like you broke the chocolate bar open.. like it was a container ... allowing the contents to flow out, I am (in my reality) not convinced it is coming from the chocolate bar. it seems too thin a line, and from behind. I wonder if you had run the chocolate down the back of the bar allowing it to more freely fall from the bar rather than from behind it if it would be more convincing that it is actually coming from the bar.
This is the only nit pick I have of this image.
Overall: I enjoy looking at this image. As I said, I am waiting in anticipation.... :)

I like this image a lot, but it's a little too easy to figure out how you did it because the colors aren't quite matched up. A thicker stream of the chocolate would help -- also, I'd bring the left side out a bit so the cup handle's not cut off. Overall, though, the feel is engaging and appetizing! |

very cool shot, nicely done. If I was to nit pick, I might have moved the pouring liquid to the lowest point of the chocolate bar. It would look more natural. Or pour the liquid down the back of the bar, if that was possible. |

Nice idea and execution. The chocolate looks a little blurry to me |

Nice trick - pity the fall of liquid couldn't be vertical. Shadow ehind the cup is a pity too, and the damaged edge to the chocolate bar. |

NEAT idea. I think it might have been even more striking if you'd created a diagonal composition. Placed the coffee cup on the right and angled the chocolate from the left. |
