At first I would have suggested focusing on the rider, but this is more interesting! |

When I look at your photo, my eyes stay focused on the pince cones and I have to "force" my eyes to move about the rest of your photo. Also, I find that if the main focused subject area is off-centered it can draw the viewer deeper into the picture itself. |

This would have been much better if you focused strictly on the pine cone without the blurred cyclist or strictly the cyclist without the in focus pinecone but not both. You actually have a pine cone a cyclist and a brown blurry leaf all fighting for the viewers attention. Try picking one subject and then make it get the viewers total attention. Keep at it and please don't get discouraged. |

Oh, I so wanted the focus to be the exact opposite of what it is. |

cones too central, needs to be off to side so less important than biker |

Try adjusting it so the leaves don't look so yellow. I like the composition. It's too bad that people dont appreciate short f-stops a lot of times. |

Interesting DOF. It seems a touch busy with the other leaf up and to the left from the pine cones. I think I'd crop out part of the area behind the biker or maybe the area to the left of the leaf. I would like to see just a little area in front of the pinecones instead of them being cropped so close to the bottom. |

What's the subject? The biker or the pine cone? |
