My first entry and my favorite drink. I used two mini mag lights hanging above the sapphire bottles. Placed a cordial glass about 2 feet in front, filled it with sprite and hit it with a 1/4 power flash with a cone wrapped around the flash to direct the light. 30 second exposure and about 150 shots before I settled on this one (actually my wife kicked me out of the kitchen) ;-)

Was fun to do but I found it hard to get the final image to equal what I saw in my mind. This is the closest I could get. I would have like it to be more colorful. Oh well maybe next challenge.

good composition, but it needs more light I think...maybe some light directed on the bottles in the background?

Not a bad concept, but more depth of field is needed so your glass stays in focus along with the bottles in the background. A tricky shot to light, more direct light on the background bottles would make a big difference.

Creative shot. The white band in the stem is a little distracting

An interesting idea - reflections of bottles of liquid - figurative mixing in the glass of what would literally mix well. I don't know how but I would wish the composition could be more clean - the surface all black, no distracting highlights of of the bottle caps, and no glare down the front of the glass. But since I've never tried this I have to give you credit - looks like you worked hard at it.

Nice lighting and effect. Good job. I like the layout of the image as well.

Too dark to see the liquid. Could have benefited from some back lighting.

Not a drink I would mix, I must admit.

I like this concept, and the composition with the reflection. I think there's a bit too much glare off the front of the glass, particularly on the stem. The focal point is interestingly centered but I think it fades into foreground blur a little too quickly; the base of the glass is much blurrier than I would have expected given an eye's view of this, for instance.

Good idea, but more light would have made those greens and golds come out more.

What a peculiar collection of drinks: nice trick with the inverted image - doesn't say much about liquid to me though, might as well be glass.
