Greetings from the Critique Club
What a beautiful rendition of a rose. Nicely captured, good and crisp where needed, soft where appropriate.
While I like it a lot, I wonder if the background could be cropped just a little on the left (say up to the last leaf) and then again on the right. (oh, about 1/3 of the distance between the frame and the flower) Would this concentrate the viewer more on the rose, rather than the mildly distracting background? Hard to say. Just another way to look at this splendid flower.
I would suggest blurring out more of the background to really direct the viewer to the flower.
It really is a lovely image. Keep up the good work. |

The b/w is nice. At the top of the rose, the details kind of blend together i guess from the high contrast. |

B&W is great, the noise in the photo is a bit much. |
