 I'm a complete PS novice, so I simply followed the video on //www.photoshopuser.com/how/ to create this Mother's Day card. It's simply some layers adjustments, so if I interpreted the Advance Editing guidelines correctly, this entry should be ok.

Post Challenge: Argh, killed by the border! I got so caught up in learning how to do the border, I forgot to look back at the picture and see if it actually looked good. :-)

What a great capture!!! Perfect mother's day card. I do think I would like this one better with a less dominant border. But it's beautiful anyway.

I like the thought behind this, but somehow the border takes too much away from teh shot and is kinda' distracting to me. (5)

I'm not so much of a fan of this type of border, or the fact that its not centered. I think the shot would have been so much better without it. Its a good shot. No need to mess it up like this.

Very lovely photo. In this case though, I don't care for the border. I feel it is taking a lot of attention away from that touching image.

This is avery nice photo. I would have really liked to see more lighting on the faces of the mother and child. I really feel the border adds to the depth of this photo. The depth of field is very nicely done as well.
