Nice image well done in good focus. Meets challenge cause you can almost hear the bacon cooking when you look at it. Actually right now I think I can smell it too. =o)
Only real thing I see to improve upon this image is it appears a little undercooked and overexposed in the one end of the skillet. Nice overall look though, well done.

| Interesting effect here. The bacon seems to float. I can hear it and smell it. This could have worked in the Liquid challenge also. |

Mmm. BaaaAAAAaaacon.
Take several shots? Half your bacon is nearly uncooked and half seems done, and there's a lot of grease. This is not as immaterial as it sounds; it seems less natural than it could.
I do, however, like the idea; bacon (frying things in general) has a very distinct sound, and the cast-iron pan on the grate is visually interesting, and oh my god that sounded pretentious. But 'pretty' isn't the right word, so, I'll stick with the old VI.

| ooh - enter this one for smells too. your cmposition could be better, you didn't take advantage of the interesting patttern of lines of the grill, the pan seems to take up too much room, maybe more of the campfire could show? glowing coals? |

Camping?..Fun!
Good idea but IMHO this is not a very appealing shot.
Maybe if the bacon was arranged perfectly in the cast iron skillet and the grease drained off. Unrealistic I know....... I don't eat bacon so maybe thats my problem....?Still I think the composition/focus is good. |

| Very good idea!! Just looking at this, I can hear the sizzle. I love campfire cooking. Great detail of the bubbles in the bacon grease. I think, though, that it's a little overexposed, especially on the bacon that isn't cooked all the way yet. Doesn't really make it look very appealing. |
