this is by far one of my favorites of yours...we have several of these storage tanks around here but I can't seem to get the right angle (need to get beyond the fences) or lighting...but when ever I see one...this is the picture that comes to mind...

Yes it was very blue, it had just been painted, in fact the paint was still wet.

i dont particularly like this photograph i think mainly because it doesnt have enough dark in it. its way too bright for me.

The over exposed sky and railing is the only thing that keeps me from giving this a ten. The comp and rich color are great.

Would have been a fav in perspective, can't see how it fits thirds. The vertical on the tank ison the quarter line and so just a bit of the imapct is lost

This is fun to look at. Simple colors and subject. Composed well as an image. I'm not sure I get your take on the rule of thirds for this. The stairs lead me more to a sense of leading lines - there isn't a subject or focal point of interest that stops me in this photo. Don't get me wrong, I like the photo overall. Good luck in the challenge.

I look at the intersections and see nothing of interest. Interesting form for blue though.
