Very nice, you got a good amount of motion blur for it being day... very well framed and done.

I really like this one. It has a lot of impact, and the blue blur sets off the red sign nicely.

Fun shot. The arrow-shaped sliver of water even implies motion.
06/14/2002 09:03:00 AM
nice angle
06/13/2002 05:34:00 PM
smooth

Good idea! Not sure the angle is necessary, but overall a nice shot. You made the motion work here.

Very good (and ironic) use of blur.
06/13/2002 11:00:00 AM
I like the tilted perspective of this photo.. i believe that a slightly shorter exposure to highlight the passing car, but still enough to allow the blur would have been nice as well... great work!

I love what the photo says to me. The speeding car flying past is just a wonderful detail. The angle is great. I love the colors....great.

this tilted horizon adds to the feeling of speed. the movement juxtaposed with the stop sign is a great statement. one of th ebetter pics in the challenge.

I dont get why you call it stop... ;?P Seriously though, nice photo. I like the tilt, give it a good sense of chaos.
06/12/2002 07:02:00 PM
Nice shot otherwise, but the angle doesn't work for me here.
06/12/2002 05:51:00 AM
I like this photo, but I believe that it would be better, if the blue object were a bit less blurred. Just enough so that I could tell what it was.

Great catch! Good use of captured motion combined with still life. Photo 10 Creativity 10 Road 10 total 10

Too much blur, great "stop" sign.

i've seen the stop sign motif before in this contest...

great

Halt! Fun shot, good work, done well.

This works well. They tried to teach me the '11 degree' rule, that it's assumed to be purposful if it's more than 11 degrees off plumb:). Nice picture.

I like the angle and the blue streak. You are almost successful in getting those power lines to disappear :-) I like the fact that the car almost is the same color as the mountains in the background, and the red is such a striking contrast to that. Good job.

as the person who entered the 'other' stop sign picture I don't know whether to mark up your obviously great intellect, creativity and vision, or mark down the only competition :)

The tilt works well and I like the juxtaposition of the car that obviously isn't stopped. Colours/ light is a bit flat though.
06/10/2002 07:33:00 AM
Not sure if that blurry blue thing on the left is a speeding car, bike or what, but whatever it is, it works for me. Very cool shot.

Ãsland...

I hope people don't dog on the tilted composition like they did on one of mine.

Another good shot with motion in the background
