I'm really surprised this didn't do better in the challenge...it's perfect! Seldom do I find a photo where I don't say "I would...", but this is one of them. Perfect.

Butterfly photos like this one require a good dose of luck or expert patience. Nice shot.

This shot is really good and just gets better the more you study it. Terrific focus/DOF and at first I thought there was too much color, but upon further reflection I don't think so anymore. It's a complex balance, but you walk the line well.

Nicely framed and meets the challenge but the colours of the butterfly pale in comparison to the colours of the flowers. This in effect draws the eye away from your subject.
