 Two of my friends run this hotel/restaurant/fishing center up north. I always bring my camera when I'm up to visit them, because the surroundings are absolutely spectacular.

This photo has so many good elements. The sun behind the tree and lighting the clouds from behind, the bridge, the brook (lake?) the house, the trees... Great job!

Very pretty. I like the leading line of the bridge and the flare of the sun ehind the trees. It does lack the color that would give it POP though. The composition is good and the use of thirds is well achieved. I just wish it were more colored, as I can see the house is red and the green of the trees would make a nice complementary statement against the blue sky.
