This one is great! the color of the rails upgrades this photo at least a couple of levels.

Greetings from the Critique Club!!

I think this has definite potential! The orangey red tones of the track leading into the orangey pink sky give a sense of continuity. The perspective is good and the leading line sense of it does exactly what the title denotes. I wish that the clarity was a bit sharper, which is hard to attain with limited lighting. Maybe the use of the unsharp mask could help do this. The misty background is an appealing aspect to the shot and lends itself to an ethereal feel to it. The white touch of cloud in the sky at the top of the shot in the background is a nice added touch. There isn't alot of contrast but that is to be expected with the time of day and the look I think you were going for. Overall a nice image that might use a touch of tweaking here and there to really make it a prize winner.. Take care, Judy

Neat picture. Love how the lines are highlighted. I've never seen anything like this. The line at the top is somewhat distracting but the color is incredible.

Nice capture, I think I would have cropped out the white streak on the top

Excellently exposed and composed image, but I definately would have cropped off the vapour trail at the top, I fear this may loose you votes?

Love this photo....I'll be truthful and say that I think the light streak in the sky is too close to the border here. It's just too distracting from what is a very powerful piece. Would either recommend a tighter crop to totally eliminate it, or allowing the sky to continue past the streak, whether during the actually shooting or in post-processing.

This is a very cool photo. I love the way the tracks picked up the sunset colors. I would have cropped out the clouds up top. They are a bit distracting. Good luck.

I would crop out the signals and the light stripe in the sky. Would you have still got the reflection on the rails if you were lower?

For me, I might have cropped out that one bright highlighted cloud at the top, but I like the "neon-like" coloring of the tracks - very cool.

I really love the way the tracks are aglow and match the sky! Nice one. 10

cool shot! The colors are great and the leading lines of the railroad makes your eye travel through the photo. Too bad the sun is not exactly at the "end" point. Still a beautiful photograph ;)

Beautiful sunset, and the train tracks look surreal. It is definately a destination oriented photo, but is it yours?
