For ya non-horse folks, they were full of milk and taking a nap, moms and babes. Each pair could have been cropped into a rule of thirds, so I did all in one. Thanks for the comments.

That's cool....never seen a horse lying all flat...also the coincidence of the pairing...nice vantage point for the composition. |

I don't know much about horses, why are all the babies laying down? Nice photo. |

First thought was..Hey their dead! lol I know they are just lying dow but is weird how one is standing and one is lying in each group. I like the variety of their positions in the image. Colors seem a tad bit dull but not too bad.
Good luck |

Wow, that is funny - such a great capture...good timing.
The lighting is a bit harsh - and I wish the color a bit more saturated. I think the composition migh be improved if you stepped a few feet to the left and the main pair of horses were shifted to the right of the photo just a tad. |

Nice shot. As I said in another comment with a field of cattle, I love the horses but with so many, it almost makes it too busy. I'd love to just see two or 3 strategically placed in the shot, but I'm sure with the circumstances, that is impossible. The lighting seems a touch overexposed. Maybe it's just the glimmer on the palamino's coat in the foreground. It is a cute idea and the title is certainly suitable. ;~D This might be a fun study in black and white. I think there is enough contrast for that to work. Good luck. |
