I like the contrast of the pavement - but the eggshell isn't interesting enough to me. Perhaps a leaf, or a different-colored rock?

Meets the challenge perfectly. DOF seems to be everyone's nemisis in this challenge, I wish there was a little less of it here. The title is good.
My only problem with this picture is that the egg shell is slightly overexposed, especially on the top side. One stop less (or a little more messing around in PS) could bring the entire photo to a more plesing level, at least for me. |

| Focis doesn't seem quite right and the eggshell highlights are blown out. Looks like the camera metered on the pavement a little too much. |
