| I keep returning to look at this shot because something was bothering me and I couldn't pinpoint it, now I've got it figured out. Don't get me wrong I think it's a great shot, but that umbrella is a solid black blob. I think it's pretty important to have detail in it. Like I literally can see no dimension or detail at all...I don't know if you had detail in the original exposure or not, but if you do I think it would make the shot that much better. |

its a nice shot, well thought out, but i dont suspect it was that hard. im sure the subject just jumped with the umbrella and he caught her mid-air. a good shutter speed and nice day did the rest.

| Like the overall shot a lot. Small gripe:: assume it's an umbrella that the girl seems to be holding - just looks like a black patch that leads up to her arm unnaturally. |

| As soon as I saw this I thought of my favorit surrealist artist - Rene Magritte - I think it's the vibrancy of the colors and that solid black umbrella. I hope you get a ribbon for this one. Very cool indeed. 10 |

Anyway, it's a splendid idea and the resulting image sure is nice to look at.
What's with the black umbrella and T-shirt? Are you referring to the 'Unknown' in the title?
It's just that I think it would have been nice to have a slight Mary-Poppins element in this with a colorful umbrella and clothing.
Still, it's quite nice image as it is and wonderful image-processing. Good luck in the challenge! |
