one thing I've felt my photos have been lacking, generally speaking, is a theme or concept behind them... I tend to take pictures for challenges that I think "look cool" but are otherwise pointless
Exactly my struggle. I've written so much and have so many ideas but translating them into planned photographs is a real struggle. I look forward to more of your work. |

This is one of the few photos on DPC that make you think. I love this kind of photography. Thank you for my viewing pleasure. I was wondering what this would look like in B&W I think it might ad some punch. I keep comming back to this image. (8) |

Facinating. I really like it. Definately different from everyone else and extremely well done. My only 10 so far. |

nice composition and title, it has a strange feeling, but I think with a better contrast and exposure I could have given you a better grade...7 |

Like the genius approach to the challenge. Somebody¡¦s trash is another¡¦s art. Or is it the artist himself walking away Æ’º |

I like the shadows--and that McDonald's bag looks huge! Great photo. I just don't like the blackish gradient at the top. |

Cool! I love it when people tell a story in their images and you've done a great job doing that here. Very nicely done! |

I get the apathy part but what is your title trying to say? The Golden Arches indeed represent some problem with the world, are you saying something about this? What is the message? |

Sorry, this isnt nice... and very harsh shadows... perhaps a different subject might lead to a more pleasing/thought post. |

Great perspective. There are so many reasons to like this shot...message, angle, dof, colors, composition - you caught it all. In a challenge of 600 your's is a stand out. |

This photo really hit me hard. Brought back memories of watching Supersize Me, while I drank my McDonald's soda. haha As for the technical aspects of your image, I like your choice of subject, and how you captured a person walking away. Great use of lighting too. Nicely done! 8 in my book. |
