It is said that the architect of "The Tower" at UT-Austin graduated from Rice University (whose mascot is the owl). If you look at it from the right perspective, you can make out what looks like an owl; the clock faces being the eyes, the upper ledges are the eyebrows, and the lower ledge is the beak. The Tower is lit orange in celebration of the UT victory over Ohio State.

nice. i like how you can see either side and that they are like mirror images of each other. i also really like the red.

I really like the color contrast on this - it's a beautiful shot - however, I think it would have been kinda' crazy fun to get a bit closer and perhaps lie down to get a more dramatic perspective on the shot...am going to have to try something like this!

Austin, TX :) Nice capture.. Was a tripod with timed shutter release used? Looks a little shakey.
