This is great. Librodo, watch out....
Very soft, emotive, questioning.
Does not hurt that he is so handsome!

Quite harshly treated with this shot IMO.
Very nice portrait..how it could get 87 fives is beyond me.
P.S.
Showed this picture to my wife as your son bears an uncanny resemblance to our son and she agreed they could be taken for brothers. |

great title, not an easy shot to produce, you know how to use light really well, keeping only the detail you want seen and hiding the rest. |

I fiddled with it in photoshop (from the above copy, not original) and took Librodos suggestions, not sure if its anymore to anyones liking though.

Hi Judy. This is a good portrait. Too much glow, yes, I agree. It doesn't suit your subject. Also, it is a bit too centered.
Anyway, I would suggest a more radical approach. With picture you have now, lower down the contrast through curves and add some noise. Also, play around with the selective colors. This is a good photo but could be even better. This should have been in the 6.5 range... JMHO. |

wow, that is a good lookin' kid. a bit too much "glow" effect for me; the dreamy portraiture softening isn't very masculine, and while your boy doesn't look like the "macho" type, he doesn't look (nearly) as effeminate as the processing would best reinforce. |

You should have placed higher! Such a hunky son you have! :-) I'm not the only one that noticed the chain!
Great work Judy, my friend!
Hugs! |

This was sooooo one of my favorites! I think the score of the commenters is much more deserving of what this picture should have gotten!!!

Nice effect you have here. I think the necklace is a little distracting, but apart from that, nice job. |

Good shot, the lighting is very nice on the dark. |

Simple, clean and straightforward. Lighting is nice in most areas of the pic. Maybe a half stop hot in some places but not bad. Lighting in the hair is great. Like the dark on dark look. |

I think I would like to see a little less neat image used. He is certainly a good looking model. The only other thing I would recommend is to maybe have his chain fully out. (no biggie!) Good Luck in the challenge! |

On my monitor the highlights look a bit overdone, but I like the rest of the shot. Nice portrait (good looking model too) ;-) |

I like the idea, but the focus is a little off and I don't like the lighting. |

Love the far away look in his eyes. Great shadows and nice contrast. The more I look at this, the more I like it! Great Job! 10. |

Great job! I really like the softness here. There does seem to be a leftover? in the bottom left, but everything above that is perfect. Really like the expression and eyes too. |

The lighting on this is exquisite. One of my most favorites in this challenge. He looks so natural and candid. Work very much to be proud of!!!! 10 |

Nicely done altho the luminosity of the skin looks a tad "fake". Not sure if that was intended as the backdrop is deep & dark but that luminosity detracts me from his eyes which have a lovely catchlight reflection all on their own.
