I had a feeling that I've seen this row before but wasn't sure. Now I am. If I remember correctly, this street is called Hope Str, right? I took a similar photo some years ago in my film days with this row of boxes and the street sign above.

Edit: Darn, just read your comments - it is Hope str, of course, and your Serendipity entry (which I hadn't seen before) is almost identical to that photo of mine which I mentioned above.

HAHA Chaos is a great title for this. I wonder, do people have problems with somebody moving their mailbox? You've also captured it when the sky seems ready to rain down on them. Adds a nice touch. Great shot!

I love everything about the photo. I am still uncomfortable with the title, but alas, just goes to show differences in perspective. duh. Did I say that? I found them folksy, clever, shappy chic, and all in a row. I would love to make up a story about each and every one of the families that would visit their mailbox. Non comformists. Non prestigous. Poor or simply metrofun? Cousins? Contest to see whose would stand the longest? An ongoing joke that is growing? Just love the photo.

This has great potential. I'd love it with a grunge filter, but not available with basic editing. I think a sepia with lots of contrast would work well and evoke the rural sense of it. The sky is wonderful.
