Lol Justin...very Joey? I wish! :P

Great shot - I think you should pop on an tutor me ;) You have a lens that I don't have, and I have one you don't have darlin' - i'd probably have had to manually crop this shot in PS too, but would have quickly done so to get rid of the extra wood in the upper right. Can I assume this corner is somewhere near your place? I should try to trek up there before the weather's too nasty :) |

Lol Justin...very Joey? I wish! :P Anyways...nope, it was this automatic, no-control-over-it-at-all brightness and contrast thing in PSP. So yeah...I noticed the hair, but meh, oh well.

I like the overcast light in this shot and the pattern on her sweater with the pattern of the background wood grain. Good angle too. |

I think a closer shot without the upper darker right corner may have worked better, especially since there's an interesting design and colour on the bottom half of the background that is almost a paler reflection of her sweater. |

I imagine the tilt was intentional but it makes me want to tilt also. I like the grain in the wood in contrast with the stripes of the shirt. |

hey you got that tilt like me going on. Pretty nifty craft you got rolling. For this portrait what I suggest is a change in the color balance to liven it up a bit. If you shifted the midtones, highlights and shadows a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny bit more toward red, it would appear warmer and overal more 'colorful.' Overall it's one of the best I've seen from you, and you really did well with it.
G'day. |

Good picture of the girl, but I don't like the angle. I want to crook my neck to look at the picture. |

well, I love the feel of this photo! I love the look and the clothing the background is a little "trapping". Mabey try it not in a corner that may help the color on the right side of her face too. great shot none the less. |

I think you could have cropped out a lot of the wood on the top right. Get closer in to see that expression. Otherwise well done. |

Really great candid capture, I'd love for it to be closer since you really caught her expression & mood so well. She seems to be competing for attention with her surroundings, maybe a tighter crop would help with that, not sure. Still I love the spontaniety of this shot. Giving it an 8. Well Done! |

Good light. Love the pose and the way her shirt matches the gray in the wood....something about the crop is weird, but overall a nice photo. |

Face is too centered, the top and right side could be cropped enhancing the portrait. Great pose and model. |
