a bounce card to fill in the shadows around her eyes would make this very cool - love the textures and expression - great photo |

Beautiful shot. The light is a bit harsh on her left and the background is somewhat distracting. Nice capture of her expression. |

the eyes are in shadow. Not a good thing for portrait IMO... |

the contrast is off or something. It seems dark yet light at the same time. Nice looking model. I'll bet you could get plenty of good shots with her. |

alot of burning going along her forehead, nose, shoulder and blouse. nice contrast in the wood background. needs a bit more softer light in her eyes. 5/10 |

This is a terrific candid portrait. The simple composition and unpretentious, casual feel makes it a very fine and real-life image. As a result, Janelle is a participant in the portrait, and not just a pretty prop. 8 |

The focus seems a bit too soft on the face, sharper on the background. A reflector would a have put some lights in her eyes, making the photo come more alive. i also feel that she is looking a bit too far to the side with her body too straight to make this seem natural instead of stiff and posed. |

Very nice. I woulda liked it a bit better if her eyes had a little more light, but I still think it's above average for this challenge. |

This appears to be more of a candid or snapshot than a portrait, IMHO. |

For me, it seems a bit grainy around her face, but I like the composition and natural background. |

some thing has caused this to look somewhat flat, side lighting or to white boards, not sure. |

Lighting is a bit harsh, could perhaps do away with some background on the left to make a tighter composition? |

Good, good. Love the color coordination you used here. Very pretty. I am a little bit noisy up front though. |

A great pose, model and background. Focus a little off on face especially around the eyes. If you could get a little more color in the blown out areas along her nose and forehead it would be a great photos. |
