i think this photo is really sweet. I love the glow. Take it from me who also HATES her photo being taken. I'm glad she likes this one. It is lovely. |

I do like the soft feel of this photo! The backlight does seem a bit too strong though IMHO... |

I like what you were trying to achieve but I feel it is overdone: the gaussian blur is to strong and especially the light in the hair around the model's head. Reducing the effect a bit would give this more impact. |

I don't like the brightness effect here. |

A nicely captured soft and warm glow that makes this portrait stand out. |

I think the combo of the angel effect and the backlight are too much. I'm not much of a fan of this post-processing technique though. 5 |

This is the only 'over-processed' entry I approve of. I guess that's because in this case it may not be over-processed at all. This delightful subject seems all the more appealing for the nostalgic glow you've given her, especially as it was taken at sunset on a holiday. 8 |

Ya know...I like it. The highlighted hair is cool, and it is SO refreshing to see a "real" and natural woman as opposed to the other stereotypical model shots. Thank you for your entry :-) |

I do like the backlight, but the total effect is "way overprocessed." You did a good ob keeping some detail sharp (hair, glasses...) but the skin has had all detail removed. |

Her hair is, uhhh... electric !! A little too much processing for my taste... 4.750... |

Image too soft for my taste. Backlit stray hairs distracting. |

I think there is too much of a glow here and the photo looks a little fuzzy here. |

Great shot. A bit too much back light. Love her smile, eyes and hair. Definate personality there. |

The processing here makes the subject look kinda creepy. Whatever you did I'd suggest pulling back a bit. |

A bit heavy handed with the softening, but the framing and backlighting work well |

I like the overall appeal of this shot. I think it's juts a touch too sof though. The halo of light is almost too much and creates an overblown sense behind her. I wish she were wearing a solid top - maybe deep blue or even black or dark red. The skin color is pretty. I'd like the light to be on her face - it would illuminate her face a bit more. As it is, the skin tones are a touch flat. Her gaze and expression is very pleasant. |

Wish you didn't soften this so much, an attractive face of a mature woman has so much to offer and every line and every flaw is well earned and to be very proud of.. |

This was a superb subject, well captured, and well presented ... but diminished by too heavy a hand with noise reduction. I gave you a good score but not the 10 it could have earned. |
