I really love the colors and DoF for this shot. The blue sky in the background sets it off nicely. |

Wow! What a great find and a superb rendering of that great find. The texture is fantastic and the colors ... so complimentary. This also works on a level as random abstraction with great masses of color and textures colliding and mingling to embrace one another. One of my favorites of this challenge. 9. |

Nice subject and great color contrasts. Nice to see a pic not overworked by a PS guru. Would have liked to see ths pic cropped (on camera) a little differently. More main subject and blues enhancing both sides of pic. It's a beauty I wouldn't be surprised to see over a firelace in an ultra modernly furnished, west coast home. |

Just amazed about the colours. What kind of tree is that? Sure that they won't grow up here. |

I'll be honest - this is another out of context branch image. However, rather than just any old branch, you used one with attractive colors and texture. Kudos to you. You also used DOF to your advantage and composed nicely. So, your image becomes something more than just another branch. Thank you. 7 |

I have never seen a tree like this - amazing. It is sooo captivating that i am thirsting for more of it. Because the DOF is so short, I am frustrated a bit - 6 |

8 - I really like this shot, especially the colors and texture of the bark and wood. Very nice colors. Criticism; although the sky does complement the said colors, I wonder if this would have been more dramatic with a different crop, without the blue sky. I like the angle but perhaps would like to have seen a slightly sharper one, if possible. You captured the beauty of the bark/wood of this tree very well. |
