It is definately an interesting perspective. This could have worked for the 'perspective' challenge as well as the new 'from the ground up' challenge.
The shape of the tree is interesting, and the sky really compliments the tree very well.
There are 2 things I notice about the shot that for me, would have been better with some improvements.
First is the focus. Seems generally soft on the tree trunk, branches and leaves. I wish that the focus were more crisp in those areas.
Second is the lighting, while it seems to have been a beautiful day for taking pics, This side of the tree is a bit dark. With the soft focus and darkness, we don't really get much detail in the trunk at all, which is the part that's really 'in your face'. Up toward where the branches start at the curve, it's really dark and really soft focus and it kind of jumbles together into a busy area.
I like how you placed the image within the frame of the photo. Really nice subject placement, interesting subject, just wish we could get more detail out of it.
Otherwise, great shot for the challenge.

8 - I like these types of tree shots, and think this one is very good. Criticism; difficult to say, but perhaps the angle, slightly more 'balanced' or straightened, dependent on tree of course. Just seems like the tree is naturally 'leaning' at the top and has been straightened pp. Also the focal point, I like where it is, but perhaps a slightly closer focus on the bottom of the frame, would have made this a better shot in my opinion, but then you may have lost as much detail at the top, not sure. The color of the sky/clouds looks very nice as a backdrop to the yellow/green foliage and complements it well.

This is one of my favorites. It would be great in perspective 2! I predict a top 10 for sure.

I get giddy just looing at this. I'd swear that the sky is stil moving (this isn't a gif is it? shhhh) What can I say, the detail on the trunk the coluring of the foliage against the sky, the clouds, the unusual quirky feel to the whole package is an easy 9

There were a lot of shots similar to this one in the challenge, however this one grabbed my attention. I think it is the lighting as well as the awesom depth of field. Great shot! .. 10

Love it! I'm dizzy!

Nice colors--the yellow works well against the blue and whtie. This photo is interesting because of the perspective. I'd like it better I there was more texture on the trunk.
