 The floor board over the main subject (two compression joints on the main plumming line) was removed to allow more light to light the subject, all other floor boards remained in place.

This was realy an experiment with using available light sources, something I'm trying to play with more.

What an original idea. I like the shot, just wish the foreground was a bit more in focus...regardless a good shot -- 6 --

Maybe it's my bad eyes, but the focus looks really soft on the lit pipes.

Unique point of view. As is, the foreground pipes are distracting.

congratulations on finding an OOTB branch! a little sharper focus on the lighted pipe may have improved this pic, IMHO

No focus, and the two pipes in the front are very distracting for this photo.

I like the novel approach and execution here. Could be cropped at the bottom to balance the frame at the top and remove the light on the floor to make the long composition even more powerful.

interesting POV. Lighting okay but I wish DOF were a little larger to include some of pipe under house. tones work.
