 A paper kite butterfly (Idea leuconoe) at the Butterfly Garden at Stan Hywett Hall in Akron, Ohio.

I liked the stark colors of the wings and the branching pattern it made. The humidifying misters had just come on and the greenhouse was foggy when I took this photo.

Great capture, but somehow "branch" is lost. I like the DOF too.

If the wings were to be the main subject then a tighter crop would have eliminated this confusion. As it is, the butterfly and the leafy brach it's resting on are fighting too much for attention.

I love this picture, but it is a picture of a butterfly who just happens to be on a branch, and I don't think that ws the challenge.

Nice shot, the overall sharpness is not as high though, and the color tone on the leaves are a bit grainy

What an unusual butterfly. Looks almost like somebody painted paper! Very nice shot. I like the DOF very much.
