I voted this a 7 too. It didn't bother me that it wasn't much of a branch. It's such a good shot of a pepper. Love the colors and the plain background. Possibly an opportunity for a more dynamic composition; but I still think it should have scored much higher.

That is a professional shot of the pepper, excellent. Pity the branch bit is just happens to be attached to it and is OOF. 6

A VERY nice photo, great composition, but..the red pepper is taking away attention from the branch. You're more attracted to the red pepper than the green branch it's hanging on.
