Creative idea! And the tree really looks just like a warrior. The focus is okay, but near the bottom of the tree gets a bit blurry. It's interesting though. |

One of the few branches that was truely interesting on it's own. Well done, though the focus feels a little too soft at the "head" and the arm with the sword looks over sharpened, but that might just be the way it came out of the camera? |

Truly looks like a warrior--great capture though the resolution and clarity is somewhat lost--and the sky is over-exposed. Cool composition |

7 - Well seen. Looks like a dead Paperbark (tree) warrior. Criticism; slightly different angle, maybe more fore focus, could have made this a better shot in my opinion. Dependent what is there on the end of that left 'limb', that incorporated into frame would be better too. Just a little more 'space on top, or to the left, perhaps a slight nudge rotation to the right, may have also made this a little more dramatic. |

The subject lacks interest to me - (I know it's hard to make "branch" interesting) -- and I do see the warrior --- Perhaps a more dramatic/colorful sky as background would help? |

Cool shot. A little better focus would have improved this image a lot. |

very intersting. I like the abstractness of it. Dead, or dying, trees almost always make for interesting abstracts. However, I feel that the overexposure of the sky is distracting, and detracts some what from the image. |

it's a cool picture, even before you planted the warrior idea in my head with the title. now it's even cooler. good job, great imagination. |

My first thought when seeing your photo was the tree fighters in Lord of the Rings. I like the angle and composition. Too bad the sky is so bright. I wonder how a darker, more menacing sky would have looked? Very cool though. |
