| Wow, we had a fire near here where the whole mountain practically went up. Its so sad to see but I hadn't seen anything like this. Great picture. Love the knots on the trunk and the blue sky. I probabily would have cropped out the other taller tree on the right so it didn't distract. Good Job! |

| what a cool tree. i like how the texture is visible and there are other little branches on the sides. good contrast between branch and sky. |

| What an amazing looking tree. The background sky is stunning. Interestingly, the shot lost all it's impact when it finished loading. I have dialup so it loaded top down slowly and I first went wow when it got to the fat branch as at that point the tree looked 100ft tall and 15ft thick. The other twigs looked like trees about 25ft tall. Then the greenery appeared and it spoilt the illusion :( It has maybe meant 3-4 points difference to me. |
