Greets from the Critique Club!
Hi Anastasia ;)
First off.. I like this picture. But, there is something missing for me.
I think I want to see just a little more darkness in this shot. That's just personal opinion.
What I do like about this pic is everything else. I like the composition. the surface of the glass presented against the surface of the liquid (frozen water?). I even like tha back light. As for the mood, it makes me feel, well... light and airy, almost non-existant.
Just a tad more dark and it would have been striking, IMO. (Alternatively, cropping the light out of the picture might have worked as well...)
Good job, I think it should have placed higher! |

Neat; I like the blue tone. Something about the staging of the glass seems odd but unfortunately I can't quite put my finger on it. |

I like your idea for a subject - all the layers - the glass, the wate, the edges where they intersect all this give interesting opportunities for a duotone picture. However I find the colors too washed out - I'd like to see this darker. I find the rim of the bowl(?) in the back distracting - it takes away from the lines created by the glass and the water. Wish you could have gotten a larger DOF. |

I don't like the top of the image - where your background seems to end, but the photo doesn't. |
