I tried to come up with my feelings on this shot. It's visually appealing, but uninteresting. Does that makes sense? I'll try to explain.
The colors area really good, I like the way the light leaves stand out on the darker background. This has a very calm, quiet mood to it. Focus is good for the mood of the photo. The focus is crisp, but we lose detail in the forground leaves due to the lighting which gets just a tad harsh in the center.
Technically, the photo is very good. I'm having trouble though finding a focal point. One would think that it would be the light leaves, however, I feel myself checking out the background just as much as the forground. I wonder if a slight DOF could have helped this? maybe to blurr the background a bit to help make it not such an important part of the photo?
The image flows nicely. I like the 'wave' the leaves create.
still, there is something lacking in the photo to grab my attention and really hold it there.

I like this one a lot actually - I like the way it looks kinda like a stream of leaves - and the light is great. :) |

Quite an interesting allusion created here. When I first looked, I thought there was a hole in the conopy letting bright light through, but of course it is the reverse. Quite striking |

Interesting luminosity in the leaves (from backlighting or PSed in...I cannot tell). |

I like the contrast in lighting between the one branch and the entire rest of the background. |

Just a bit overexposed in the center of the photo. |

Im bumpin this one up. As I went through the first time, this one seemed bland, and lacking any unique subject matter. But I see it now. I like the clarity, and depth, and there is terrific color here, and it would seem to flash across the background very nicely. I was wonderin if you would of focused on a real bright part of the sky from where you were standing right there, or turned the EV compensation down it might of created a scene where those leaves would of stood alone illuminated on a very consistent background. That might of been cool, if i would of worked. As it is, its a nice photo, and Im bumpin you up. GL. |

This picture is rally cool because it seems like the leaves are fale or something. There is a difference that you can tell between the top green and the bottom green |

I rated this photo in the lower half because nothing in the photo draws me in and my eyeball wanders around the picture. It has potential though |

the use of light pulls this away from the monotone background, but a smaller aperature would further set it apart and make it stand out. |

Brillant use of lighting to inversely sillhouette the leaves on the canopy backdrop. |
