 My friend lauren with her orange and green hippy shoes :-)

overcast day in downtown madison, stopped down to -1. lauren had a hard time not laughing, so i couldnt get any shots of her looking right at the camera

High contrast lends a vivid mood and atmostphere to this image and the girl's personality or mood.

I like the contrast in her pants and sneakers, but for me, the area around her face lessens the overall contrast by having similar grayscale values.

I like the grainy urban feel to it. Her relaxed hands and somber expression ad to the shot. Nicely done.
