For my day job I am surrounded by technology all day long. I find it so interesting as to how light is used to convey telephone conversations at least to video, internet, x-rays and full television at best. The days of rabbit ears are over forever. Many people never get to see how these fibers are connected together at switching stations, so here is a look at one fiber distribution shelf.

This also represents the bending of light and a branch of light used to illuminate my face reflected in the door of the Fiber Shelf. Taken on a 45 degree angle to the camera my face looks to be inside the shelf itself, transparent and a little haunting. Hope you enjoy. OK II admit it, I can be very eclectic and esoteric at times. Forgive me.:-)

Very creative entry, a tighter crop at right would have given it more punch. 8

Just a little more contrast and a blacker black point woudl have given this more punch! I like the concept.

Cool! I love this style of reflective shot that relies on the subject and the background to be stirred together by the viewer for its statement to be deciphered. 8

Interesting idea. Probalby could have used a tighter crop. The right side of the shot is a bit distracting.

If you would have cropped to the left of the writing in the upper right corner I think it would have improved this shot a lot.

Interesting image and an unusual take on the subject. You've unfortunately picked up some other reflections, those and the marks on the panel are a little distracting.

Very cool image. The reflection and the hard wiring gives an everyday pass by image an artistic touch. IMO there is too much lighting coming from the right and that glare is distracting. I like what you were going for....nice job.

I've worked on fiber optics before, so I know what this meant, but I'm not sure anyone else would without direct experience.
