photo to me seems kind of blurry. not as sharp as it could be maybe. kind of a boring shot, you could have gone tighter on the tree itself and not its surroundings.

I think if you went a little closer to the acutal tree branches and cut out some of the grass and things it would have been a good picture. Maybe playing with the colors would have also helped?

Uhm. It's a tree. Still not liking the idea of trees being branches. Could you have walked closer and taken a picture that highlighted a branch?

An out of focus tree doesn't say enough about branches considering the challenge, other than it has some.

This seems a little flat to me. Perhaps playing with curves or levels might have helped the fallen tree stand out a bit. Good idea though!

Looks like a snapshot of a fallen tree -- to be more than that you need more interesting light and shadow or possibly an angle that creates interest .

I like the coloring but nothing really stands out to me since there are so many pictures like this,
