 I wanted to do a modern day Cinderella shot, and I'm not really sure if it came across very well. I had a really hard time picking which photograph to use, but ultimately decided to go with this one; it was sort of a last minute shot, taken on the last day of the challenge during an hour break from work. I like it, but I definitely don't expect much. I know it's gritty and grimy, but I love that about it :)

Editing: Channel mixer, curves, hue/saturation, sharpen, resize, border.

Love the idea of this photo. Love the contrast in the black and white. But feel the shoe looks a little too posed.

I like the elements of this shot alot. The leaves of the plant have a metallic feel. The single shoe with the light bouncing off of it is well done. I have a sense that somebody just ran off, leaving one tap shoe behind. The laces tumbling over the step is a nice touch. Compositionally, this is done quite well. It makes you wonder what happened. I'm upping my score.

I like the border and the shoe. Tey work well together. The black and white is also a very nice touch. =) Good job.

Nice "set" and great angle to it - love the diagonal of the stairs/ metal railing as well as the zig zag drop of the treads and the texture of them. The white stairs are almost in a yin yang with the black railing and plants. Shoe positioned perfectly. Nice one!

Nice picture. Only little thing I would change (and I mean little) is to sweep the stairs first and get that dried grass off. It kinda detracts a bit from the overall picture I think.

Of all the empty shoes, this one seems to be most left behind. the ribbons seem to be reaching out after the owner. Great Photo.
