| An action shot of them actually dancing would have worked better, with one in the air (we've all seen tribal dancing around fires) rather than floating or hanging in the air as they seem to be now. |

While the subject matter is interesting, the image has a "snapshot" feel to it, like you were recording the dancers feet to remember his costume for a family holiday photo album.
If the subject is standing still, get down on level with the feet. Alternatively, photo graph the feet in action - show us he is a dancer. |

| Interesting. Nice color, but I'm not sure the the birthday ribbons really match the Native American type feel that the shoes give. Just a thought. |

| the fact that the shoes/costume are hanging makes it look like someone just got lynched. |
