to me the lighting is a bit too dark

Interesting take. The desat kind of fails here, the red just doesn't come across strong enough for me. If it did this would probably be an 8 from me.

confuse about the lighting---intended to be a spotlight or just soft-lowlighting on shoes?, either case-there needs to be greater contrast or lighter effect---keep shooting

I don't llike how the shoe is faded out in the front and the back. I think that it would have been better if you just showed the whole shoe.
