DOH!

I UPLOADED the WRONG PHOTO. This was my TEST SHOT! OOPS! Thanks for the comments and I agree - this photo sucks. (Most TEST SHOTS do.)

By the way, it was delicious.

This made me hungry! If a picture can make my stomach growl, it has to be good!

Great food shot. Very nice lighting.

A little more depth of field would have been nice. Still a nice shot though.

Usually I just LOVE the shallow DOF, but I'm afraid it just doesn't work here.
Also, for me photo does not say anything that has to do with D and L. Dessert... yeah, maybe. but I don't see any Ls in here. 5

I would have preferred to have a slightly wider DoF.
09/03/2005 03:20:21 AM
The DOF is too shallow for this. Good idea though.

I bet it tastes as sweet and soft on the tongue as it looks.

Too shallow DOF. The composition is potentially good, you just can't clearly see much of it. Point off for no "&" or "and" in title.

Great composition, I think a little more DOF would be nice, but only a little more...........7

Nice! I can taste it!

Good light and color.

A shot worthy of a food magazine spread. Well composed and I like the slight out of focus softness. A tasty photo. 8

that looks awful tasety - bumping up

this image is very well done but the extremely shallow depth of field is a negative

After I finish voting, I'm going to get myself some cheesecake. I'm just learning how to do food photography, understand how difficult it is.

NEVER! (I gave this an 8 meaning dessert should never be last!)

Narrow DOF leaves me admiring only the front raspberry and point of cheesecake.

Now I'm hungry.

I see what your trying to do, but I think I'd like it better completely in focus...5

Very good! Love the bokeh, but I would do without the vignetting on this one

does Dessert Last come after the Supper Last?
08/29/2005 03:20:01 AM
This is a very attractive food shot that really makes me hungry.

Great title. Ok, fine, it's your fault I'm going to eat way too late in the evening after seeing this delicioius shot. YUMMMMM The focus seems a bit off in places. I wish more of the image were sharp, but the lighting, color and composition is great.
