This almost looks like you dropped your camera and it went off and took a picture on its own. Being mechanical, it has no heart in it and that's what I get from this photo, You didn't seem to put enough heart in it to get anything really interesting. The near subject is leaving the frame which is generally not a good idea, only in special cases. I don't know which shoe is considered the far shoe becasue there are two. The fact that the front shoes are leaving the scene to the left makes it look like the shoe on the right is there as an accident creating cluttered background. Don't be discouraged, pick your subject next time and do things to bring attention to it, such as lighting, composition etc...

Nice shot- I really like the blurs.

Looks too much like a snapshot and isn't telling me anything about the "distant shoe" or the "near shoe", and why the crop in the closest shoe? Just seems like an exercise in use of DOF (which incidentally was done well).

Nicely done DOF here.I like that the two main subjects are primarily in focus.

OK, it fits the challenge but not very interesting.

Great use of shutter speed, perhaps comes up a little short on cropping and composure

i liked this photo-the angles of the legs (human and non-human). a tighter crop (taking out the blurry leg in front) would have made this better

Distant shoe is interesting, but throws the picture off balance and makes it busy. If I were you, I would crop it on the right, cutting off till about half-way through the black shoe's heel.

Good job with the color and lighting.

I like how you did the movement for this photo. BUt at the same time it is a little distracting.
